Endeavor Volunteer Opportunity - Software Programming and Development
What is Endeavor?
Endeavor is a global non-profit organization that works to support high impact entrepreneurs in 15 countries by connecting them to top business leaders. Endeavor’s network is comprised of approximately 5,000 candidates, 750+ Endeavor endorsed entrepreneurs, 2,000 network members; venture capitalists and business leaders in the developing and developed world, and 250 staff members. Endeavor’s Global is in the process of building an online platform that serves Endeavor’s worldwide network, called Endeavor Access.
So, what is the opportunity?
Help us design and build Endeavor Access!
What is Endeavor Access?
Endeavor Access is a dynamic, powerful platform that allows high-impact entrepreneurs to connect with mentors and each other to share information, business insights, and give feedback to each other in order to push their businesses to grow. It will be used by Endeavor’s network: some of the top business people in the world from mentors like Reid Hoffman to the founders of Globant and MercandoLibre. Endeavor Access is at an early stage - we’re looking to launch our MVP in February.

Who are we looking for?
We’re interested in web designers and programmers who are willing to donate a few hours a week. Volunteers would be joining our small team (just two right now, split between Brazil and New York) and would not be paid. We like people that are:
Able to work from our office in NYC or online, and comfortable working with an international team
Self-directed and capable of answering the questions, What needs fixing? How can I help?
Interested in contributing to the construction of the platform while learning more about programming
Creative outlook on challenges, willingness to be detail oriented, and an interest in improving systems
Will it be any fun?
We hope so. Because we’re a small team, volunteers have the opportunity to be more than a cog in a software machine. We’re looking to build quickly, so our volunteers can expect to take on direct responsibility for projects which will be incorporated into our production version quickly. Want to influence a product that will touch more than a thousand of the most promising business people in the world - work with us!
