Harrison Company, LLC is a 90 year old, Stable, Regional Wholesale Foodservice Distributor seeking a knowledgeable and aggressive business development person in the Western Kansas/Kansas City area.

The ideal candidate will have good verbal and written communication skills along with good presentation skills.

Duties & Responsibilities:
Consistently developing existing customers potential through the continual assessment of their overall business by creating strategic plans to address key business needs and opportunities.

Expand current customer base through prospecting and securing new customers.

Ability to design, manage and be accountable for a territory business plan.

Improve service to existing customers.

Skills & Abilities:
Sales ability

Excellent interpersonal skills

Self motivated

Ability to manage multiple tasks & priorities

Computer literate on Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint, must have the ability to learn company computer systems.

Ability to represent the company at the highest level of professionalism.

Excellent Follow up skills

Education/Experience Required
Knowledge and experience in the wholesale business is preferred

Knowledge of the C-Store and Foodservice business is preferred

Ability to pass a pre-employmentdrug screen & back ground check.

Must have reliable transportation & ability to travel on some overnight business trips

Previous sales experience preferred

The position will involve servicing and prospecting customers in the Western KS and KC areas.

Compensation package includes salary, plus commission and a competitive benefits package to include medical, dental, life insurance, disability, 401K with company match, vacation and holiday pay.
