This is an opportunity to work in a dynamic, entrepreneurial company in a rapidly growing market. BENTEK is a team of highly motivated professionals delivering mission-critical information, analysis and decision tools to industry, government, energy consumers and to the energy industry. BENTEK publishes more than 40 daily, weekly and monthly reports covering numerous aspects of the energy industry. Many of these reports are focused on the natural gas sector, both domestic and international, but others address aspects of the power industry, the natural gas liquids business, crude oil and renewable energy. BENTEK also publishes numerous special one-time reports on various energy subjects. All of its reports are driven by base-level data stored in BENTEK's energy databases. Although the company was founded more than 20 years ago, it entered a new high-growth market segment about five years ago. Since then, it has experienced triple-digit increases in revenue and is now significantly expanding its product line and client outreach efforts. BENTEK needs an enthusiastic, creative and motivated individual to join its Denver-based team.

Key Responsibilities:
Work with a large team of energy analysts to write daily, weekly, monthly and one-time special energy analysis reports.

Analyze energy market dynamics, using BENTEK data on gas pipeline flows, supply and demand, storage and prices.

Respond to requests for energy information and analysis from senior management, regulators, customers and other team members.

Present material in Power Point to clients and energy conference attendees.

Aid in new energy product development.


Must have 3 or more years recent energy writing and analysis experience. Experience writing about the natural gas industry a plus.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).

Desktop publishing experience (Adobe In Design experience a plus).

Bachelors Degree, preferably in Journalism, Economics or related field of study.

Ability to work independently or in collaborative groups to determine objectives, provide recommendations, develop conclusions and complete projects on deadline.
