Online Services Security & Compliance (OSSC) is responsible for the infrastructure security needs of GFS’s customers. The Engagement Manager (EM) role is part of OSSC’s Engagement Management team. We work with GFS stakeholders to meet their security, compliance and reliability objectives and provide visibility into the security posture of the GFS environment and its services.

Roles & Responsibilities
This role will have direct influence over OSSC’s key strategies - primarily, security program integration with our customers. You will be responsible for ensuring end-to-end solution priorities and OSSC capabilities are aligned. The OSSC Engagement Manager (EM) will work with key GFS customers (e.g., Azure, Office 365, Bing + Ads, Xbox Live, Windows Live). This role will coordinate involvement across OSSC and GFS teams with GFS customers. One of your primary goals will be to formalize a Service Agreement clearly delineating responsibilities for security processes by each party, to utilize that Service Agreement to evaluate opportunities for efficiency in shared services, and to use the Agreement to naturally create metrics and scorecards for Security processes. OSSC EM’s will also be expected to lead the delivery of specifications for end-to-end solutions that contain exit criteria for milestones. You will also be expected to gather feedback and lead improvements to planning, requirements gathering/definition, data quality, and release processes for end-to-end solutions through retrospectives, postmortems, or other means.

Skills & Qualifications
This role is a combination of technical program management and classic project management. A proven track record of successfully managing a large portfolio of complex projects is the primary skillset needed to be successful in the this role. The successful candidate will also have basic technical knowledge of how online services are delivered and operated. The ability to work professionally and resolve conflict across technical disciplines within OSSC, GFS and the Business Groups we serve is a must.

Experience Required
A minimum of a BS or BA is required.
5+ years of relevant work experience.
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent experience is preferred.
Demonstrated experience developing business cases and solution proposals is also helpful.
