Focus/Objective: (Grade Level O)

This position is responsible to effectively contribute to Policy Deployment and enterprise key initiatives within the Value Streams through the process of driving continuous improvement, improving customer satisfaction, reducing waste, increasing efficiency and eliminating variation in manufacturing processes

Job Responsibilities:
Support policy deployment iniatives focused upon commodity and value stream to ensure continuous improvement. •Drives continuous improvement, improved customer satisfaction, reduced waste, increased efficiency and elimination of variation in processes •Ability to work in a team enviroment to perform problem solving and root cause analysis with Associates, Supervisors, Maintenance, Value Stream Managers, Materials Management, R&T and peers. •Leads continuous improvement projects aligned to lean manufacturing principles; leads cost reductions and yields improvements with delivery partners •Strong understanding of DMAIC tools; when to apply them, interpretation of results and application for effective solutions (process map, process capability, C&E matrix, fishbone diagram, FMEA, MSA, DOE, control plan) drive improvement activity. •Utilizes sound project management tools for complex projects and key initiatives. •Collaborates with delivery partners to determine appropriate projects of focus, using available data from observation, queries, process data, and working partner input. •Interfaces with advanced design, product engineering, and other business partners on the design for manufacturability, process capability, and production builds of new product or product revisions. •Demonstrates continued personal growth and development. •Builds cooperative relationships across the organization. Interfaces with Business Partner groups responsible for our processes and or methodologies, i.e. AMS, new product development or continuous product and process improvement.


Minimum Qualifications:
4 year degree in Engineering or Technology or within 6 months of graduating

1-10 years engineering experience.

Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing principles.

Strong project management skills and working with a collaborative and cross functional team,

Strong knowledge of quality systems, SPC and process capability.

Strong Mechanical or Industrial Engineering Aptitude.

Strong Ability to find and utilize data for driving improvement
