Northrop Grumman Information Systems sector is seeking an Engineer Test 3 to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be working remotely in Little Rock, AR with occasional travel to Oklahoma City, OK required.
Where Technology and Teamwork come together... The qualified applicant will become part of Northrop Grumman's Health IT Programs Division which focuses on IT solutions for our Federal, state, and local government clients. This position will work to serve the Oklahoma National School Lunch project.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Develop comprehensive training plan and curricula.
Attend JAD sessions and document required changes, prepare detailed design documentation for change requests.
Train school staff (20) using a train the trainer approach at client location.
Produce detailed user manual.
Develop on-line tutorials and training videos.
Must develop a thorough testing plan to perform unit, system, and integration testing of the proposed system. The plan must address data migration, table population, module integration, and system integration, stress testing and capacity testing.
Perform unit, system, and integration testing in accordance with the approved test plan. Candidate must document date and time each test is performed, summarize and detail test results for OK SDE.
Must deliver periodic updates to OK SDE Project Manager that detail various test metrics including but not limited to:
Number of tests planned and conducted, per module
Number of tests performed during most recent testing period
Results of tests (pass/fail)
List of issues ordered by impact on testing and the project timeline
To be considered for this position, you must minimally meet the knowledge, skills, and abilities listed below:
Bachelor's degree. An additional 4 years experience will be accepted in lieu of a Bachelor's Degree.
5 years of experience in a software development / support environment
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Expertise with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Visio)
Experience writing T-SQL queries for data validation
Experience testing web applications
Experience developing and executing test cases
Experience developing training materials and training end users
Experience preparing requirements documentation
Must be a US Citizen or current Green Card Holder
Candidates with these desired skills will be given preferential consideration:
Experience creating and updating project plans in MS Project
Experience with Team Foundation Server (TFS)
Experience working with Microsoft SQL Servers
Experience using automated testing tools
This position is contingent upon contract award, budget, and/or customer approval.
