The Engineering 3D Designer will create complicated 3D models and detailed 2D manufacturing drawings using Unigraphics NX 7.5 and Teamcenter for transportation and control equipment including sheet metal, motors, forged parts, etc.
In addition, you will
Must develop new, complicated 3D models and 2D manufacturing drawings, create parts lists, wiring diagrams, layouts, detailed assembly drawings, and part outlines
Must have working knowledge of drafting practices, manufacturing methods, shop tolerances, engineering, and manufacturing standards and methods of ordering materials with little supervision from an engineer
Ability to make accurate mechanical engineering drawings and create bills of material for ordering
Must have sheet metal design experience and also experience creating complicated assemblies
Minimum of an Associate’s Degree
Minimum of 4 year’s of experience with 3D modeling, assembly and drafting work using Unigraphics NX 7.5 and Teamcenter
Minimum of 4 year’s of manufacturing experience

Geometric Dimension and Tolerancing experience
Strong working knowledge of drafting and modeling standards
Must have knowledge of electrical schematics and understand math including decimals, fractions, and simple functions
Must have excellent verbal and written communications skills
Must deliver work to specified schedule
Must work independently and lead others including global team members
