Job Summary and Responsibilities :
To support the Global Pensions Manager in the roll out of governance and strategy with regard to Accenture retirement programs for all countries.
To help the team in the development and implementation of retirement solutions for Accenture globally.
To help design, develop and support Accenture's short, medium and long term retirement strategy for the business.
To work with the Global Pensions Manager to ensure Accenture's retirement programs are competitive and to ensure that the retirement programs link to Accenture's total rewards strategy in each of our countries.
To establish, communicate and maintain the global pension policy, process and operational guidelines. To provide guidance and recommendations for implementation of new, or for amendment to existing retirement programs. To support the business in the control of risk, the design of pension solutions and the management of costs with regard to all BPO transitions, new acquisitions or disposals, and with any headcount reduction programs where there is a retirement impact.
To assist in the required roll out the required governance structure for the operation of retirement programs in each geography and to support local HR colleagues in the maintenance and ongoing development of those governance structures.
To support the local geographies in their vendor procurement process and in the development of new vendor relationships with regard to retirement administration, consulting and actuarial support and investment monitoring and advice.
To assist the Global Pensions Manager in the transition of new or existing retirement plans onto global platforms where these are commercially pragmatic, where this increases Accenture's visibility of benefits and where this facilitates Accenture's internal control of assets.
To assist in the monitoring of Accenture's retirement programs to ensure compliance with applicable laws, standards, and work council agreements and to ensure that Accenture programs are fully integrated with statutory programs in the each country.
Develop and support communication programs to members, the business and Trustee Boards.
Frequent and timely provision of information to the Company and Trustees, ensuring both parties are kept informed of pertinent issues relating to the plans and the wider legislative and economic framework, so that effective management decisions can be taken at the appropriate time.
Investment of scheme monies where and when required for some geographies, within the prescribed compliance timescales, to act in a timely manner with regard to member contributions and to provide a secure and high level of fiduciary controls on behalf of the Company.
Support in the monitoring of 3rd party advisors performance against SLAs to ensure compliance within the Law and to ensure value for money on behalf of the Company.
To either participate in, or help effectively manage, the various Trustee Boards, Committees and sub-committees of the Company / Trustees, relating to pensions matters to ensure the delegated authorities from both the Company and the Trustees operate efficiently.
Implementation of appropriate risk registers and monitoring and resolution of such.
Basic Qualifications (Must-Have Skills/Experience):
Education: Bachelor's Degree
5+ years' experience working with international pensions
Preferred Skill Requirements:
To be able to work with all levels of the organization both horizontally and vertically.
Knowledge of Accenture's policies & procedures, organization structure and key contacts.
Knowledge of pensions impacts arising from BPO transitions, mergers and acquisitions, and disposals.
Knowledge of pensions impacts arising from headcount reduction exercises and redundancy programs.
Knowledge of pensions interfaces with other benefit programs, such as insurances, medical, wealth creation etc.
Knowledge and experience of Trustee bodies and sub-committees, planning and running meetings and provision of information, recording of decisions through minutes and development and maintenance of action plans.
