The incumbent supports Architecture and Modeling work related to acquisition, engineering, and PM efforts for the ISV Communication and Navigation (COMM/NAV) IPT Lead. The incumbent closely coordinates with the IPT Lead to provide subject matter and process expertise for the COMM/NAV IPT, including recommendations on DoD Architectural Framework and Engineering Architecture using software such as IBM System Architect or iGraphix and, as needed, develop Unified Modeling Language Use Cases and Activity Diagrams. The incumbent will provide solutions for aircraft ISV COMM/NAV Enterprise and System Architecture requirements. On occasion, the incumbent may speak with large groups. The incumbent attends meetings with the contractor and NAVAIR counterparts and occasionally facilitates meetings.
Required Qualifications: 5 yrs Enterprise/System Architecture, technical or business analysis discipline. Identify and report interoperability issues regarding net-centric data strategies and DoD Architectural Framework (DODAF) architectures. Develop and Modify enhanced Information Support Plan (eISP). Coordinate common approaches for compliance with the Net-Ready Key Performance Parameter (NR KPP) and associated DoD policy, CJCSI6212 and CJCSI 3170. Possess experience in Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR). Participate in strategic planning, roadmap development, system architecture understanding, assessments, evaluations, and briefings. Desired Qualifications: Experience within a NAVAIR program office. Proficient in IBM System Architect and familiarity with iGraphix. Specific familiarity with NAVAIR platforms is most desirable. Required Education: BA/BS degree in technical discipline. An additional 8 years of relevant experience may be substituted for a BS/BA degree.Clearance Requirements: The incumbent must have or be eligible for a Secret clearance.
