At Accenture the legal team provides objective, focused, practical solutions, based on an understanding of the law and Accenture's business, and works closely with each engagement team to find ways to maximize revenue and manage risk.
Accenture seeks a seasoned intellectual property litigation attorney with at least 8years of patent litigation experience, and at least some trademark, trade secret and/or copyright litigation experience, to assist in (1) managing intellectual property litigation and pre-litigation matters; (2) advising management on IP-related matters and risks; and (3) developing and implementing training, policies, and best practices designed to proactively mitigate and minimize IP-related risks to the company. Candidates must demonstrate an ability to quickly identify and understand complex IP-related problems and associated risks, advise business leaders in an efficient and clear manner, and create and implement practical solutions.
Reports to Senior Director of Legal Services, Intellectual Property Litigation
Basic (Must-Have) Qualifications:
Minimum 8 years experience in a law firm engaging in IP litigation and/or as in-house IP litigation counsel
Active Bar membership
Breadth of IP knowledge , background and experience
Excellent ability to sift through facts to uncover relevant IP related risks, and provide practical advice to management in plain English
Strong litigation skills and experience
Excellent organizational skills, facilitating an ability to decipher and solve multiple and complex IP-related problems simultaneously
Professional Skill Requirements:
Strong interpersonal skills with business executives and strong executive presence
Excellent oral and written communication skills
