MUST BE ABLE TO TRAVEL UP TO 75%. Our client is looking for a Project Manager who has experience installing large enterprise systems at a client site: (Oracle, SAP, CRM or ERP.) CONSULTING experience is important. You will manage cross-departmental staff to deliver superior project services on time and within budget in accordance with client expectations and agreement. This is a customer-facing position, and you will deliver premier services through a close working relationship with the customer. Your responsibilities include ensuring that projects assigned are implemented successfully, meets project objectives, and are delivered on time according to project scope and within budget. Outside of travel, most team members are home-based employees. Targeting Dallas, Houston or Denver - as long as you are near a major airport. There will be 50% - 75% travel depending on the project (home on weekends.) You will work from home when not at client site - two weeks at client/two weeks at home and so on. Manages implementation of a SaaS web-based software at multiple client sites.
Assists clients in identifying their critical customer needs: business objectives, core processes and key problems.
Collaborates with the customer to build project plans, set deadlines, assign responsibilities, and monitor cost and progress of implementation projects.
Evaluates project risks and works with customers and the client's internal resource team (project management office (PMO), account managers, system analysts) to mitigate project risks and to ensure flawless implementation on time.
Leads and directs implementation teams.
Provides direction and management to the solution services team in the delivery of a timely and quality project.
Responsible for promptly addressing customer issues, project team inquires, and follow-up resolution.
Accurately forecasts and track project budget and scope.
Manage customer and internal expectations from a solution and time perspective regarding implementations and service work.
Works well with the necessary departments and personnel on a continuing basis to address clients' issues and concerns.
Able to identify further business opportunities and directly assist product management with the process of marketing our services.
Define and recommend new process/ procedures "best practices" and improvements on existing project methodology.
Conduct and perform special projects as required

At least 8 years of managing successful IT enterprise implementation projects from a vendor perspective, with at least 2 years' experience working directly with the customer. (Client looks for people who have experience installing large enterprise systems at a client site: Oracle, SAP, CRM or ERP.)

Must be proficient in English. Verbal and written proficiency in an EU language is a plus; Dutch, German, French, Portuguese, Spanish, Italian, Greek, Hungarian, Romanian, Polish, Czech.
Excellent communication skills (both oral and written) along with strong presentation skills and the ability to report effectively to top management.
