Entry Level Drafter / Engineering Assistant will assist a DC-Power \ Transport Engineering group with AutoCAD Drawings, Plotting, and Project Data Entry. He/she will perform routine research and develops recommendations for equipment and/or materials selection. They will also be required to collect, assemble, and manage data for engineering work. Willingness to train on the GE Energy Systems and DC\Transport Telecommunications could lead to possible career advancement.
Drafting Customer Plan Drawings, Wiring Schematics, and Cable Run Lists per specifications to match site
Assembling Engineering packages to be sent to field installation
Enter Job\Quote related Data into GE and\or customer systems
Interface between Engineering and Field Installation to resolve on-site issues
Identify & Download Required Telephone Office Records
Perform Under Deadline and pre-determined Schedule
High School Diploma / GED
