Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in math, engineering, business, or the sciences.
YEARS OF RELEVANT EXPERIENCE:
This is an entry-level position and no minimum experience requirement exists.
We are seeking a highly motivated individual with excellent quantitative and analytical skills for an entry to junior level position. The position requires an organized, detail-oriented individual fluent in Microsoft Excel, Word, Access, and PowerPoint with a bachelor's degree in business, economics, math, science, or engineering. Strong spreadsheet and database development/management skills are a plus. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are mandatory to support working directly with government customers and other contractor personnel. The ideal candidate will be flexible to support a variety of tasks and eager to learn new skills and concepts.
The ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance is required.
You may have the opportunity to train in Cost Estimating, Scheduling and Earned Value Analysis. Task assignments will contribute to a variety of cost and economic analyses in support of NOAA programs. These may include such activities as developing and analyzing complex schedules, analyzing and projecting performance from earned value reporting and generating cost estimates for complex satellites and ground space systems. You may also assist in the development of budget strategies, collection and analysis of financial data, cost collection and estimating, and the development of detailed spending plans, cost tracking and reporting systems.
