Under supervision, responsible for assisting in the coordinating and implementing of various events and activities for the residents and participants. Reports to Site Supervisor and/or Athletic Coordinator.

Position Duties and Responsibilities:

Assists with the implementing and operations of various events for the City. Duties may include score keeping, gate admissions, announcing events, set up and break down equipment/tables/chairs, parking vehicles, answering phones, gathering ice and filling coolers, gate monitor, assist in award distribution, posting scores, and overall event clean up, and whatever is required and asked by the Supervisor.

Operates a variety of equipment such as telephone, computer, printer, typewriter, adding machine, copier, digital camera, small tools, etc.

Will interact and communicate with the general public, community leaders, business owners, co-workers, supervisors, City department heads and elected officials.

Events may be indoor or outdoor at various times throughout the day. Must be able to work in these varying conditions, including standing, sitting for long periods of time. In addition, must be able to lift or move equipment, tables and chairs.

Must have a flexible schedule as work schedules will be on an as-needed basis.
