The Executive Director- Product Marketing Manager of the Advanced Solution Unified Communications and Collaboration team leads strategy and execution for mobile voice collaboration product portfolio.
This dynamic role is designed for someone who has led product management and cross functional teams to deliver B2B mobile software applications or cloud services product line(s) and developed marketing strategies. This position requires strategic planning, product design, product management, and marketing program development skills. Business acumen, technical aptitude, attention to detail, ability to partner effectively internally and externally, and a passion for innovation and emerging technologies are key traits for this role. The ability to see the “big picture”, while managing multiple solutions and their roadmaps under tight timelines, is critical. Using leadership and motivational skills honed over the years, a successful candidate evangelizes the importance of objectives, and keep team members and partners excited and on track.
This role will have responsibility for managing the lifecycle of existing mobile collaboration solutions, rationalizing the portfolio across a number of resale and AT&T whitelabel solution, optimize AT&T service delivery and distribution channels, strategize on market trends, developments and emerging technologies as well as defining requirements and managing realization of new offerings and potentially large integration programs.
As a seasoned marketing professional, the Executive Director- Product Marketing Manager understands the dynamics of the wireless applications, mobile device industry and emerging cloud and collaboration industries and has a thorough understanding of business customer need and is ultimately responsible to develop a compelling customer experience and sales enablement initiatives driving results and product accountability.
Roles and responsibilities of the Lead Product Marketing Manager include, but are not limited, to the following:
Lead direct or cross functional product teams to develop and deliver key products, features or operational efficiencies/improvements.
Develop highly motivated product team and foster an environment of collaboration to deliver a complete portfolio of mobile UC&C solutions.
Manage the product and feature roadmap of an Advanced Solutions portfolio to achieve $15M of annual revenue within 3 years
Sponsor mobility product development projects and drive through the stage gate process (OAA) to deliver to market.
Projects may be complex in nature and involve network, infrastructure and 3
party integration programs.
Provide data driven financial assessment of market and product opportunities.
Develop and manage resources to execute compelling go to market plans and programs to meet business and product objectives.
Analyze business customer needs, competitive landscape and market/technology trends for mobile and collaboration solutions in order to define the product requirements for cloud based and mobility Advanced Solutions.
Act as Subject Matter Expert for the Advanced Solutions mobile collaboration portfolio.
Manage the activities and priorities of 3
party suppliers and adherence to related reseller or supplier agreements.
Manage annual marketing budget in excess of $1M
Define product and marketing strategies including setting business goals, product positioning, offer pricing, communication plans, distribution channels, promotion strategies, sales tools and customer experience.
Collaborate with other AT&T offer teams to ensure customer experience and Advanced Solutions positions AT&T as the continued market leader and delivers access to the best combination of products
Rationalize solution offerings by performing map/gap analysis against current offering and market opportunities.
Establish requirements to effectively manage and track to a plan of record, including total sales, revenue, churn and ARPU contribution
Motivate others to action and provide leadership qualities as needed.
Foster strong relationships with internal and external resources. Engage with different functional teams (segment marketing, product management, sales, operations, etc.) and business units (consumer, enterprise, wireline) in order to drive business success and optimization.
The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and attributes:
Business acumen to understand the dynamics of the wireless, cloud and collaboration services industries and business customer needs
Is passionate about mobile technology and has a working knowledge of existing wireless technologies including mobile applications, unified communications and cloud solutions
Detail-orientation to ensure development of a compelling customer experience and drive results accountability
Creativity to develop compelling positioning and value proposition, copy and selling tools
Collaboration skills and the ability to motivate others to action
Results-focused; competitive in nature and driven by a get it done attitude
Decisive; acts intelligently but quickly to maintain momentum and lead teams
Minimum of 10+ years of experience in B2B and/or B2C product management and marketing or product lifecycle and portfolio management in wireless/mobility or software development industries for established businesses or start-up operations
Demonstrated ability to develop product strategy, business cases, use cases and marketing programs.
Experience leading cross functional teams and executing jointly with partners and vendors
Equivalent of Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business or other related field. .
Excellent written and verbal skills
