The Executive Administrator (EA) for Ambulatory Services, Keck Medical Center of USC, manages a wide variety of administrative, fiscal, and technical activities to assure the efficient operation of all ambulatory clinics owned, licensed or managed by the Keck Medical Center. This position serves as the senior administrative leader for ambulatory service at Keck Medical Center of USC. This position is responsible for planning, implementing, monitoring, and evaluating the delivery of patient care, overall service delivery, performance improvement, financial accountability and achievement of departmental goals. The Executive Administrator reports to the Chief Executive Officer, Keck Hospital of USC and Norris Cancer Hospital. Requirements Minimum Education: - Requires a Master's degree in Health Science Administration, Public Health or related field. - Nursing or other clinical degree would be desirable, but not required. Minimum Experience/Knowledge: - Minimum 10-15 years leadership experience in a multispecialty clinic practice environment. This experience must include health care/practice operational senior management roles including operations and strategic planning. - Experience with Academic Medical Centers preferred. -Superior communication and facilitation skills would be required. In addition, the individual should have: - Experience in developing a patient-centered and physician-friendly culture; demonstrates a strong track record of enhancing physician engagement within a system. - A track record of solid performance as a skilled leader with an ability to measure and improve outcomes, assess market potential and take appropriate business risks to achieve goals in growing clinical programs. - Familiarity with information systems, regulatory compliance issues, particularly for academic practices, and business operations for physician groups. - Proven experience in building ambulatory patient care centers and multi-specialty clinics. Required License/Certification: - A Fire and Safety card must be presented upon hire or must be obtained at our facility within the first 90 days of hire and maintained by renewing before expiration date.
