The Executive Assistant will be responsible for but not limited to the following:
Supporting a Vice President of Communications of large, Fortune 500 manufacturing company.
Performing administrative duties; maintaining calendars; scheduling and coordinating appointments.
Preparing reports, presentations, and/or other written materials. Editing written material for accuracy, format, and arrangement of materials.
Reviewing incoming correspondence; initiating replies as appropriate
Reviewing outgoing correspondence, editing for procedural and grammatical accuracy, conforming to general policy and factual correctness; advising writer of problems needing attention.
Receiving calls and/or greeting visitors, taking and relaying messages, responding to requests for information; providing information or directing caller/visitor to appropriate individual.
Maintaining and/or creating files or record keeping systems. Sorting, labeling, files and retrieving documents, or other materials for reference.
Who we are looking for
The Executive Assistant will possess the following qualifications:
Associate's or Bachelor's degree
Knowledge of administrative procedures, software applications (such as Microsoft Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.), filing and records management systems.
Ability to make a decision or solve a problem by using logic to identify key facts, explore alternatives, and propose appropriate solutions.
use proper grammar, spelling and punctuation when reviewing and/or editing documents for accuracy and completeness; speak clearly, concisely and effectively
maintain confidential information; and deal with people in a manner which shows sensitivity, tact, and professionalism
