Reporting to the Vice President, the Executive Assistant II will be responsible for performing a wide range of secretarial and administrative duties to assist with the planning/management/coordination of a department or division's overall objective. Position is characterized by the need for initiative and the ability to problem solve. Incumbent must be able to tactfully and effectively communicate hospital policies and procedures to physicians, executives, patients and other individuals both within and outside the hospital.
Three (3) years secretarial experience.
Demonstrated ability to prioritize, organize, exercise independent judgement and maintain confidentiality.
Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Demonstrated knowledge of business mathematics and business correspondence.
Successful completion of course in medical terminology.
Proficiency in the use and application of MS Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
