Must have a strong background in eCommerce, spanning the gamut from technology through merchandising strategies and best practice user experiences.
Responsible for overall account leadership, developing executive level relationships that positions R/GA as a strategic advisor and overseeing all producers and teams from beginning to end of each engagement’s life cycle.
Oversee multimillion dollar client relationship(s) with responsibility for account growth, staffing, client satisfaction, prioritization of all deliverables and ensuring quality of work meets agency standards and client objectives
Develop an engagement strategy and work with the team and discipline leads to execute it, involving people at the optimal levels for project success and overall account utilization (goals, deliverables, schedule, budget, resources)
Manage account P&L by negotiating statements of work, making sure work is delivered on budget, and invoicing clients according to the proper terms.
Manage $5-10 mm/year in revenue
Participate in strategic development of new business
Lead the training/mentoring of producers and associate producers on R/GA methodology and PM skills
Resolve team conflicts
Must have strong presentation, verbal and written skills.
Can think quickly under pressure, as well as motivate and engage the team to produce the best possible results
Working knowledge of the major eCommerce technology platforms such as Demandware, Oracle/ATG, IBM Websphere as well smaller third party.
Experience with standard eCommerce analytics packages, including Omniture, Coremetrics, Google Analytics.
Well versed in A/B and multivariate testing as well as high- and low-fidelity prototypes.
Minimum Qualifications: l
7 to 10 years experience either in house at an eCommerce retailer or on the agency side specializing in eCommerce strategy, design and development for Fortune 500 clients.
Experience with various projects types, including web, mobile, video, brand, and strategic consulting
Develop relationships with clients (from project administrators to CEOs) through gaining trust and successful delivery
Manage large interdisciplinary teams of more than 15 people
Proven experience managing multi-million dollar accounts successfully
Ability to define solutions that will generate measurable results for the client
Excellent negotiation skills (especially contract negotiations) with both clients and partners
Excellent leadership and communication skills
Deep understanding of project management, work flow and infrastructure
Strong knowledge of web development technologies. Knowledge of quality assurance process is required
