This role is accountable for the development, growth and implementation of a global strategy to achieve over $1.0 billion orders by leading a team of sales managers and commercial directors in 3 regions. This position is responsible for integrating and developing processes to improve the sales function, managing complex commercial issues, generating compliant and competitive proposals to win profitable orders, establishing strong relationships with senior level customers.

Essential Responsibilities

In addition, you will:
Be responsible for > $1.0 billion orders plan across multiple, diverse business segments / legal entities

Be responsible for the overall leadership and day-to-day management of the Fuels and Services global sales force and commercial teams and process within assigned regions / markets of customers

Lead and motivate teams of sales professionals to solicit new business and / or retain and penetrate existing business in order to drive growth and income, and be responsible for developing and maintaining partnerships within GE or with external stakeholders

Lead and motivate a team of Commercial Operations staff to develop compliant, competitive and thorough proposals

Develop and drive the strategic growth vision and objectives, including participating in essential operating rhythm processes as a member of a leadership team

Implement the execution framework on identified opportunities

Manage assigned initiatives to maximize long-term net investments

Create processes to seek new and / or additional income / business development opportunities

Collaborate with Fuels and Services leadership on developing and maintaining Executive level customer relationships, with special focus on key accounts

Partner with Government Affairs to develop and implement strategic plans for active government engagement as well as tactical programs for government assistance in Marketing and Business Development initiatives


Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university

Minimum of 8 additional years of experience in sales, business leadership, strategic planning or other leadership roles

Additional Eligibility Qualifications

Desired Characteristics

Minimum of 10 years of experience in the Nuclear industry

Master's degree in Business Administration

Prior experience in nuclear sales

Prior experience managing a sales team

Prior experience with sales planning and forecasting

Knowledge of financial analysis and risk, tax and legal principles and analysis

Strong track record in implementing change

Strong oral and written communication skills

Strong influencing and relationship building skills

Sound people management and decision-making skills

Strong customer focus and results-oriented
