Engineering Disciplines: Electrical Engineer, Electronics Engineer

Milcots LLC, a manufacturer of Military Displays, Panel PCs, and Rugged Tablet computers is looking for one Electrical Engineer who is an experienced hands-on troubleshooter and problem solver to aide in the manufacture, design, documentation and refinement of our products.
Taking the lead on troubleshooting and aiding in the integration of products.
Resolving technical issues in the assembly and production of products.
Performing intermediate and final acceptance testing.
Reading and creating schematics, block diagrams and wiring lists.
Creating Test Procedures and Reports
Installing, configuring and troubleshooting Windows and Linux Operating Systems.
Assisting in product design and development.
Working on several projects simultaneously.
Microcontroller program development.
Light soldering and assembly work.
Education and Experience:
BS degree in electrical/electronic engineering.
Must have 3+ years of hands on experience troubleshooting digital circuits, computer boards and basic analog circuits.
Must have experience performing test and diagnostics using equipment such as oscilloscopes, DVM, video signal generator, etc.
Experience with analog and digital video and video standards.
Experience designing and constructing electronic circuits and prototypes.
Must be able to work from and create schematics, block diagrams and wiring lists.
Must have experience with Linux configuration and command lines and be competent installing and configuring Windows.
Must be detail oriented and have the ability to multi-task to meet multiple deadlines.
Additional Skills and Experience (Desired):
Knowledge of LCD panel/video display operation.
Knowledge of Military Environmental Specifications.
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Familiarity with Eagle Schematic and PCB Layout tool.
Knowledge of fielded military electronic systems, component ruggedization and Military environmental specifications.
Familiarity with SolidWorks.
PIC microcontroller programming.
