Applicants with interest in developing their teaching and academic skills, in improving their maternity care skills, and serving underserved women are preferred.
During the fellowship, participation in faculty development, acting as a junior faculty member, initiation of a research project, teaching residents and students on the Family Medicine Inpatient Service and active care of pregnant and delivering patients is required. In addition to a core curriculum of in women's health, the schedule allows elective time to pursue areas of special interest.
Exciting opportunity to train in primary care women's health. This program offers a 1-year clinical fellowship or a 2-year faculty training fellowship. The clinical curriculum includes training across the continuum of care, including ambulatory, acute, inpatient, maternity care, and procedural skills for career development.
Applicants with strong maternity care background and interest in strengthening knowledge base of high risk OB patients preferred. Education and career development for academic advancement provided. Initiation of a research project is required.
