Johnson and Johnson is currently recruiting for a First Officer- Rotary Wing for thier West Trenton, New Jersey Mercer airport facility.
General Summary: Responsible for the safe, economical, consistent and legal operation of company aircraft in compliance with all applicable federal regulations as well as company policies, standards and procedures. Pilots in command of an aircraft are directly responsible for and are the final authority on the safe legal and consistent operation of that aircraft.
Duties and responsibilities include: Performs the safe, legal and consistent operation of the aircraft in accordance with all federal/national aviation regulations and company policies, standards and procedures. Operates, analyzes and appropriately reacts to all aircraft operational functions such as aircraft performance, internal and external communications, air traffic and climate conditions. Performs flight operations tasks including aircraft takeoff, climb, cruise, descent, approach, landing, taxi in an parking in accordance with aviation mandated standards. Coordinates tasks to permit a number of functions, including but not limited to flight fueling, loading, passenger handling, associated duties to transport passengers and cargo in a safe manner in accordance with company policies, standards and procedures and appropriate federal/national regular. Conducts pre and post flight inspection of the aircraft to ensure air worthiness. Maintains expert knowledge of assigned aircraft equipment type and current operational procedures. Coordinates activities with others, both in the cockpit and in the operational departments.
It is perferred that the candidate for this role have a minimum of a Bachelor's Degree.
The following qualifications are considered required skills and certifications for this role: Holds a Commercial, Instrument, and Multi-Engine Rating; Commercial certificate, Rotorcraft, Instrument; ATP written completed; ATP must be completed within the first 180 days of employment; Instrument rating Rotorcraft; First class Physical, Total time Rotorcraft - 2000 hours; Flight check by Chief Pilot; Satisfactory employment record; Evidence of desire and ability to advance to position of Captain; United States citizen or Green Card; Satisfactorily pass Company physical
examination and stress test.
Experience with S 76-C+ is preferred for this position.
