Imagine One is now hiring Foreign Military Sales (FMS) Sr. Engineering Technician to support Naval Air Systems Command's (NAVAIR) E-2/C-2 Airborne Tactical Data System Program Office (PMA-231). PMA-231 is responsible for providing the E-2C Hawkeye, E-2D Advanced Hawkeye, Hawkeye 2000, and the C-2A Greyhound fleet with acquisition strategy, logistics and sustainment solutions in support of the warfighter's mission.
The FMS Sr. Engineering Technician shall meet the following requirements:
Background in applying engineering techniques, principles and precedents to develop, design, modify, test, or evaluate electrical, electronic, avionics, mechanical, communications, or related data processing system for Foreign Military Sales (FMS) military weapon system or associated support equipment or facilities.
Experienced with Navy Class Desk support as well as providing insight and coordination regarding FMS security/releasibility ensuring compliance
Developing, preparing or applying engineering, technical or maintenance specifications, policies, standards, or procedures. Organizing, analyzing, and preparing reports or presentations of technical data and information.
Background in planning and performing tests and evaluations of systems equipment or components is desired.
A total of at least ten years of professional experience in performing the foregoing functions.
At least four years of the foregoing total experience shall have consisted of performing engineering and/or technical functions with respect to any three of the following Airborne Early Warning (AEW) functional areas: radar, tracking, navigation, ESM, display, data extraction, systems control, digital data bus controller, file control, correlation and association, report processing, Link 16, Link 11, Link 4, mechanical/hydraulic, engines or electrical.
High school diploma or GED and completion of a technical school, trade school, or armed services technical school curriculum or course of training in electricity, electronics, avionics, mechanics, or engineering technology, or completion of at least 30 semester hours (45 quarter hours) of studies at an accredited college or university in an engineering, scientific, or technical curriculum.
U.S. Citizenship required.
Candidate must have active Secret Clearance or be eligible to successfully obtain interim Secret clearance
Candidate must have active U.S. Passport or be eligible to successfully obtain U.S. Passport for OCONUS travel
