The Lead Analyst role will provide financial planning, analysis and reporting support to management of the Retail Deposits Funding Segment of GECRB during OP plan, SII, SRO and monthly closing. Provide recommendations and drive operational ownership across teams to ensure consistency and compliance. Assist in identifying process improvements and acts as financial resource for team.
Preparation of forecasts for key planning sessions and operating plans including program growth and related metrics, funding costs and functional expenses.
Identify and articulate risks and opportunities relevant to the forecast period.
Establish and maintain relationships with retail deposits team and functional expense leaders.
Prepare critical analyses of business results (Trend analysis; retention rates, cost per account, productivity metrics, etc.).
Drive expense analytics.
Monitor progress to GE goals & proactively identify areas of opportunity.
Actively participate in monthly operating reviews and program performance reviews with retail deposits team.
Participate on cross-functional process improvement teams to promote operational efficiencies.
Develop models, metrics and reporting packages for retail deposit program.
Produce ad hoc analysis using reporting tools including SAS, Access and Excel.
Bachelor's Degree and Minimum 2 years of finance or accounting experience
Minimum 2 years of financial modeling experience
Proficient use of financial systems and analysis tools including Microsoft Office (eg. Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Must be willing to travel up to 15%

Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting
Master's degree, Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or equivalent certification
Financial Management Program (FMP) grad or Corporate Audit Staff (CAS) grad
Financial services industry experience
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities
Ability to analyze complex issues and develop appropriate action plans and deliver the results timely
Ability to lead projects and assignments
Demonstrated oral and written communication skills and ability to work cross functionally
Strong presentation and analytic skills
Proven ability to influence decision makers
Proven ability to demonstrate innovation and creative approaches to business needs
Proven ability to work independently
Strong drive for results
