The faculty member will work as a team member in Maternity Nursing. Responsibilities include teaching theory in the classroom and the supervision of students in the clinical area and laboratory. The faculty member will track freshmen maternity nursing but must be capable of teaching medical-surgical nursing as well. This position requires professional responsibilities and activities including student advising, attendance at all department and team meetings and all college meetings, serving on a minimum of one all college committee, and other duties as assigned and outlined in the MCCC Agreement.
MSN in nursing is required. Experience in teaching maternity nursing is preferred. Candidate must be a Registered Nurse in Massachusetts or eligible to be registered. Additionally, the candidate must have five years clinical experience and teaching experience in nursing. The candidate must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, experience in curriculum and course development, and knowledge of recent developments in nursing education.

Term of appointment: This is a full-time, tenure track position. Terms governed by MCCC/MTA Agreement
Salary: $41,470.00 - $61,470.00 (salary is based on MCCC Classification Study)
