Full-time, 12-month, grant funded (funded by grant from Student Activity fees), position reporting to the Coordinator of Student Life. Responsible for assisting the coordinator of student life in developing, managing, promoting, and facilitating a broad spectrum of campus activities and programs which cultivate a vibrant/active social life for students and helps nurture student leadership development. Evening and weekend hours are required; position is available September 1, 2013; current contractual annual salary is $38,345.

RQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s Degree (note: will be required to complete requirements for a Master’s degree in Student Personnel or approved related degree within three (3) years of appointment to position); one year full or part-time equivalent paid professional experience working in some aspect of student life in a higher education setting or one year experience as a graduate student working in some aspect of student life in a higher education setting.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Master’s Degree in Student Personnel Administration or related field; experience in a higher education setting with student life related programs, e.g. orientation, student organizations, leadership, and/or student programming; experience utilizing Microsoft Office Word, Excel, and Publisher.
