Position summary

Adobe Software Quality Engineers work on all product teams from Photoshop and Acrobat to Online Marketing. Adobe is looking for individuals with great work ethic, experience in software testing and a desire to ship the highest quality products around. As a Software Quality Engineer, You will be contributing to the qualification of Adobe offerings and the development of QA automation software as required. Depending on your interest, background and experience, you will be working in one of the following areas: Digital Media, Digital Marketing, Experience & Technology Organization, or Advanced Technology Labs.

Responsibilities

Contribute to feature design and specification process.

Create and execute test cases.

There may be focus on white and black box testing.

Write clear and concise bug reports; verify bug fixes.

Monitor public user forum and Pre-release forum for bug reports.

Communicate effectively with developers and quality engineers.

Identify and leverage tools and test materials from other Adobe QE teams or from third parties.

Regress old bugs and features to make sure they are still working as expected.

Analyze functional areas that can be automated and create automated scripts as needed.

Perform various other testing/automation duties as assigned by QE Manager.

Requirements

Graduating December 2012 to August 2013.

Working towards a BS or MS degree from an accredited university or college.

Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Applied Mathematics or similar technical majors with programming experience.

Strong Technical background with analytical and problem solving skills.

Ability to work with ambiguity and change.

Ability to work on diverse teams.

Experience in any of the following Computer Languages: C, C++, Java, Actionscript, Flex, Python or Perl.

Past internship experience a plus.
