The Facility Engineers is responsible for conducting the building maintenance, planning, inspection and function of the facility and its systems. These individuals manage one or multiple buildings within a campus and will have responsibilities in building field inspection, construction and maintenance.
perform the maintenance required to keep the building and its systems in good working order and electrical work as required.
Adding/modifying electrical outlets where required for additional fit outs
Perform amperage readings, infrared readings, electrical panel circuit balancing, etc.
While conducting maintenance, you will also be responsible for aesthetic maintenance such as painting, dry wall, addressing door hardware issues, and snow removal etc. of the surrounding grounds
Keep maintenance logs up to date and ensure PM is being completed on time and in accordance to the PM schedule
Other key components will be monitoring systems via our building management system.
You will maintain HVAC filter and belt changes as required
Other duties may be assigned.
Minimum five (5) years working experience in facility maintenance and or engineering or related
Demonstrated experience in the maintenance, monitoring of HVAC and other facility management systems
Education school diploma/trade school or equivalent
Working knowledge of Building Management System (BMS) is required.
Working knowledge of multiple UPS systems, backup generators with ATS’, chiller/cooling tower plant maintenance
Upkeep and electrical systems (480v) experience.
Hands on electrical work. Electrical systems (13,200 volt power distribution) experience
E2 State of Connecticut electrical license is required.
