Support the Facility Manager in the integration of sound facility management practices

· Support the Facility Manager in the integration of sound facility management practices to ensure cost efficiency, optimum levels of service and asset protection while ensuring service and support needs are continually addressed and met in all operating divisions at NorthWestern Energy
· Maintain and update electronic building plans for purposes dealing directly with space planning, management and project development
· Provide cost estimates, scheduling, conceptual drawings, and when required, bid ready drawings and specifications for new construction or renovation projects
· Communicate and develop professional working relationships with state and local agencies, vendors, contractors and design professionals
· Prepare cost studies relating to facility and utility improvement and renovation projects for approval. Participates in conflict resolution
· Oversee and manage facilities construction and maintenance projects ensuring cost, schedule and scope control
· Knowledge of SAP and company accounting procedures
· Adapts and moves easily from one priority to another
· Ability to understand complex drawings or schematics
· Basic understanding of Heating, Air Conditioning and Ventilation systems
· Ability to problem solve and negotiate
· Strong document organization and decision-making skills
· Ability to address space needs with creative solutions
Must be able to demonstrate a good safety record
· Must possess strong interpersonal communication skills
· Bachelor of Science in architecture, engineering, construction management or related
· Professional working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project), proficiency with AutoCAD. Project management skills.
· Excellent writing and interpersonal skills, including the ability to work effectively with internal customers
· Have or desire to achieve FMP (Facility Management Professional) or CFM (Certified Facility Manager) credentials
