Post by Jobing - Family Based Mental Health Services provides intensive family and individual therapy, delivered in the home and community, to children with a diagnosed mental health condition, who are at risk for out–of–home placement. The service is team delivered by a therapist and case manager who focuses on the mental health needs of the child, the relationships within the family system and the natural strengths of the family. Serving Beaver and Butler Counties. Requirements: Bachelor's Degree with major course work in sociology, social work, psychology, gerontology, anthropology, other related social sciences, criminal justice, theology, nursing, counseling or education; OR be a registered nurse; OR a high school diploma and 12 semester credit hours in sociology, social welfare, psychology, gerontology or other social science and 2 years’ experience in direct client contact; OR a high school diploma and 5 years’ of mental health direct care experience in public or private human services with employment as an ICM/BCM staff person prior to April 1, 1989.One to three years working with children and/or adults in mental health setting recommended.

One to three years of case management experience recommended.Must have physical dexterity to work in consumers’ homes and in the community doing activities including walking, lifting, cleaning, etc.Must complete and pass agency Crisis Intervention Training for community based services.Must have emotional stability to perform essential job functions.Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.Valid driver's license, acceptable driving record and access to reliable automobile is required.Ability to adapt hours to needs of position. May need to work evenings and/or weekend hours periodically, including providing on–call emergency services on a rotating basis.Access to a telephone.Ability to remain organized despite pressured situations.Act 33/34 and FBI clearances.
