Job Title: Family Educator Full-Time
Program: Partial Hospitalization (PH)
Shift: 10:30am - 6:30pm (Hamilton County)
Location: Hamilton County and Butler County

St. Aloysius helps the children, adults and families in our community overcome their challenges by providing the education, counseling, health care and resources they need to heal and grow.

Brief Position Responsibilities:
Follow all program objectives, systems, policies, procedures and directives as indicated by supervisors and training personnel, as well as policies and procedures of the program and the agency. This includes, but is not limited to:
Demonstrate and reinforce the Teaching Family Model through day-to-day teaching
Demonstrate understanding of trauma and its effect on child development
Utilize trauma informed approaches to the care of children
Modeling and guidance of the youth
Organize and plan PH group activities
Monitor and supervise youth's behavior at all times
Complete all required documentation of youth in care
Attend all required trainings
Transport clients in personal or agency vehicle
Perform other duties as assigned

Position Qualifications:
Must have minimum of associates degree in human services, bachelor's degree preferred.
Three years' experience working with emotionally disturbed children or related experience is preferred. Must receive training in the Teaching Family Model, Therapeutic Crisis Intervention and trauma informed care. Valid driver's license, good driving record and proof of current vehicle insurance
