Location: Farmington Hills, MI

We currently have an opportunity in our HR and Training Department for a self-motivated Human Resources professional for a full-time a position in our Admin Location in Farmington Hills . As a Talent Acquisition Specialist you will be responsible for providing overall support to the team members of the credit union through developing, implementing, coordinating, and the administration of human resource activities.

Summary -
The Talent Acquisition Specialist will be responsible to manage and execute internal and external talent acquisition strategies to strengthen the organization's capabilities and ensure it has the talent to meet current and future business needs. The role will focus on implementing talent acquisition programs that positively strengthen the organization's capabilities in attracting, assessing, selecting and identifying top talent.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities – Other duties may be assigned.
Conduct full lifecycle recruitment including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and the offer process to expedite talent acquisition needs with quality candidates.

Assist in the creation of critical competency / job descriptions that will assist in accurately defining the needed roles and search strategies for an effective acquisition experience.

Partner with business unit leaders to develop results-driven staffing strategies that meet current & future needs.

Build and maintain relationships with high-quality candidates utilizing social media and externally focused networks to ensure an ongoing viable talent pipeline is maintained.

Develop and foster sustainable external relationships with key recruiting networks, associations and agencies to drive effective recruiting plans, including diversity initiatives.

Create and drive a multi-year internal and external plan to promote and drive talent brand, talent sourcing and college recruiting.

Create, analyze, and report out acquisition performance metrics in order to formulate decisions and make recommended changes to processes.

Keep accurate documentation related to candidate interactions, statuses, etc. to ensure full compliance with all legal and internal established requirements.

Partner with HR and business unit leaders to design, direct, and manage internal development strategies that address issues such as succession planning, superior workforce development, key employee retention, organization design, and change management.

Assists in organizational staff planning to evaluate business unit structure, job design, and team member forecasting throughout the credit union to ensure acquisition strategy initiatives support established staffing models.

Continually develop recruiting/sourcing skills and knowledge using latest sourcing and recruiting methods/technologies to ensure credit union practices have an edge on attracting top talent.

Track and document EEO/AAP reporting, including applicant tracking, to ensure that policies are being followed, reports are being processed and records are accurate.

Education : A four year college degree, preferably in Human Resources

Experience :
· 2-5 years of inside or corporate recruiting experience required
· Sales or technical recruiting experience a plus

Required Knowledge:
High Proficiency in the following -
Basic understanding of job functions and operations at all levels of the of company
Knowledge of training systems and resources
Microsoft Office Suite, including PowerPoint, Word, and Excel
Knowledge of recruitment sources and networks

Skills and Abilities:
Full-cycle recruitment experience/responsibility
Sourcing experience with tools such as LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter
Strong communication and negotiation skills
