Accenture Federal Services Marketing Lead
will lead marketing efforts within Accenture Federal Services (AFS), Accenture's legal entity which serves the US Federal market. The role is responsible for the design and implementation of the marketing strategy for AFS, under the oversight of working in conjunction with the Marketing & Communications executive responsible globally for all Health & Public Service marketing. The individual manages and delivers the design, resourcing, rollout and measurement of marketing initiatives and programs that support the business' objectives. This candidate will contribute both strategic thinking and hands-on marketing expertise.
The individual is directly involved in the development of client-centric and opportunity centric integrated marketing campaigns; thought leadership/issues-based marketing initiatives; services/product marketing strategies; relationship building initiatives; and maximizing Accenture participation at Industry events. This person liaises with and supports the Media and Analyst team and collaborates with the Accenture Growth Platforms and the US geographic marketing team-helping select, package and disseminate materials appropriate for AFS. This person must be a strong team player.
Enhance client/market perception of Accenture's industry capabilities and business services; differentiate Accenture from competitors, and create a preference for Accenture in the Federal marketplace.
Align marketing activities with sales efforts and help contribute to lead generation.
Develop an efficient and effective marketing plan for AFS and aligned with the H&PS marketing strategy.
Provide marketing counsel to AFS leadership.
Design, implement and measure AFS marketing programs.
Manage resources and third party service providers (e.g. approved agencies, designers, writers) and program budgets.
Define and track metrics to assess effectiveness of marketing programs and initiatives.
Plan and manage investment and/or operations budget items.
Ensure that all global marketing policies and procedures are followed
Bachelor's Degree or other 4 year University Degree.
10 years of experience in integrated marketing, with a minimum of 5 of those years in the US Federal market.
Professional Skill Requirements:
Strong experience in stakeholder management and working in matrixed environments.
Proven experience in marketing strategy development and planning.
Proven experience in message development.
Strong written, content development and oral communication skills.
Significant experience in thought leadership development.
Experience in digital marketing.
Experience in Client Centric marketing.
Experience in metrics based marketing programs and capturing/articulating MROI.
Experience with Salesforce or similar sales/marketing/support tracking systems.
Broad overall business acumen, industry knowledge, knowledge of Accenture's areas of business and the US Federal market.
Understanding and ability to originate and apply marketing concepts.
Strong budget management and financial reporting skills.
Solid leadership skills - team building, supervision, mentoring and managing of diverse and virtual teams.
Able to influence leadership within Accenture's large, matrixed organization through relationship building and executive-level presence
