Client Operations-Application Outsourcing (AO)

workgroup are responsible for the day-to-day provision of long-term outsourcing services to one or several clients. Client Operations is where the majority of Services people reside and, typically, people in the workgroup are based permanently at a client location.

Position Description:
The Client has engaged Accenture to assist in the support and maintenance of their webMethods data brokering program. The

webMethods Developer

will be responsible for full life-cycle application development and sustainment operations of existing and newly deployed webMethods based solutions (including production system interfaces) within production operations environments. This individual should possess professional application operations, and maintenance (System Maintenance - defect fixes, enhancements) experience of webMethods based solutions (Trading Networks and Process Model).

Primarily support full life cycle (including the Plan, Analyze, Design, Build, Test, and Deploy phases) joint custom and packaged development of webMethods based solutions

Secondarily support sustainment operations including directly troubleshooting production issues of deployed webMethods based solutions

Periodically function as a SME within webMethods based solutions (Integration Server, Broker, Designer) including leveraging previous professional experience with webMethods to provide technical knowledge to development/sustainment teammates

Participate in quality management reviews ensuring the application design and related work products satisfy the requirements including assisting teammates to produce deliverables in compliance with standard procedures

Effectively and comfortably support communications with clients (possessing all ranges of technical ability, personality, and disposition) including face-to-face interaction and accountability with the client on a daily basis to develop positive client relationships within own area of responsibility

Provide necessary project management artifacts as required to team lead including status, project planning, and reporting

Identify and communicate issues and risks to the team lead or end user to facilitate timely resolution

Maximize personal productivity with reduced dependence on supervisor's input by structuring/prioritizing own or others' activities to minimize delays, wasted effort, or rework

Actively contribute to maintaining a collaborative work environment


Basic Qualifications:
Possess valid and current US Citizenship with no dual citizenship

Able to obtain a Government clearance

Minimum of 3 years of combined professional full life-cycle development and sustainment operations experience, with at least 6 months experience in one or more of the following

1. Integration solutions using an SOA platform (examples: TIBCO, Oracle/BEA, IBM, webMethods, Biztalk)

2. Service definition, design or implementation using WSDL and/or SOAP

3. Implementing Business Process Orchestration using BPEL or an equivalent proprietary solution

4. Professional full life-cycle development experience with Java, B2B Integration, and BPM

Minimum of 3 years application development experience adhering to formal methodologies

Minimum of 2 years or more of professional experience with business, functional, and technical requirements gathering

Minimum of 2 years professional application development experience utilizing release management process and procedures to deploy developed solutions between development, testing, and production environments

Preferred Skill Requirements:
Technical writing experience, including ability to complete technical designs that are in line with functional and technical requirements

Strong analytical, organizational, and interpersonal skills

Ability to follow applicable design standards, ensuring designs are functionally/technically sound and integrate with other related system components

Minimum of 3 years combined professional full life-cycle development and sustainment operations experience for webMethods (webMethods Integration Server, webMethods Broker) and/or TIBCO (TIBCO BW, TIBCO EMS, TIBCO Rendezvous) based solutions

Minimum of 2 years of professional application development and sustainment operations experience with webMethods Process Model (BPM), Trading Networks, and myWebMethods components

Professional application development and sustainment operations experience utilizing and integrating with webMethods CentraSite and webMethods Mediator solutions

2 years of professional application development experience within UNIX based operating systems (HPUX, RHEL, Solaris, AIX)

Working experience with multiple data formats such as EDI X12, SAP IDoc, XML, and MILS

Application development experience supporting SOAs (Service Oriented Architectures)

Application development experience with Web Services (XML-SOAP)

EAI (Enterprise Application Integration)

Professional application development of webMethods based solutions leveraging software based clustering technologies

Professional application development experience utilizing Composite Application Framework (CAF) concepts

Familiar with operations architecture concepts including enterprise level event management, incident management, service level management

Performance Tuning experience of webMethods based solutions (Integration Server and Broker)

Strong analytical, organizational, and interpersonal skills

Must have clear communication skills

Capable of balancing workload and upward communication i.e. provide timely updates on team status to the team lead

Express ideas clearly and effectively both verbally and written; Capable of adjusting communication styles to suit different audiences

Able to work as part of a team and support collaboration with external stakeholders to deliver solutions as expected

Demonstrable capability when working in a team environment to assist other team members to produce deliverables in compliance with standard procedures
