Provides highly visible customer support through the performance of on-site installation, as well as overseeing any necessary diagnoses, troubleshooting, service, and repair of complex equipment and systems. Checks out and approves operational quality of system equipment. Instructs customers in the operation and maintenance of the system. Serves as company liaison with customer on administrative and technical matters for assigned projects. Interprets customers’ needs and clarifies if the responsibility for problem resolution falls to sales personnel, customer support reps, or engineers. Specifically, provides DarkField applications support to customers, including product adoption, penetration, and market share activities centered around Best Known Methods (BKMs) development, identifying and implementing new applications and use cases, and maintaining competitive advantage. Responsible for supporting Advanced DarkField patterned wafer inspection products in the field, including projects related to new product introduction, characterization, beta testing, and early evaluations tools. Manages customer demos, competitive Head-to-Head activities at customer facilities, and long term adoption support. Generates BKMs and training material, transfers product knowledge to company’s field applications team.
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/ Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related technical field followed by 5 years of post-baccalaureate progressive experience in job offered or in an engineering applications-related occupation. Experience in: 1) DF Imaging technology; 2) Demonstrated experience conducting technical presentations to customers and multifunction groups, and acting as a liaison between customers and multifunction groups, in semiconductor industry environment; 3) Managing customer issues in a semiconductor industry environment, including gathering and interpreting customer technical requirements and concepts; 4) Troubleshooting complex technical applications; 5) Designing, developing, testing/ QA, and implementing software applications and systems in semiconductor industry environment; 6) Project management in semiconductor industry environment; 7) SEM review and semiconductor defect classification; 8) Yield Analysis software; and 9) Advanced logic semiconductor process.
