The Field Area Manager will provide field and/or site leadership within an assigned geography on projects and operation (BOO, Capital, UFMBR, mobile) to ensure compliance, financial, contractual and service fulfillment through established company procedures. This role contributes to the overall strategy and manages complex issues within functional area of expertise.
In addition, you will:
Interface with both internal customers (Build / Own / Operate, Mobile Water and Equipment) and external customers within the service delivery process
Interface with Equipment Project Management, Mobile, BOO, Capital and Chemical Ops Teams to meet customer requirements and expectations
Provide technical guidance and mentors Field Service personnel
Work with Region Managers to execute EMS, Salary Planning, selection, on-boarding and training for employee in the region
Be responsible for all Field Service operational metrics within geography, including Environmental, Health and Safety, quality of service, utilization, and cost to serve
Work with region managers on employee development and technical resource, assignments, training and EHS training
Lead team of Field Service Representatives (FSR's) within a territory to execute all GE Water Field Service work
Leads projects and initiatives with broad scope and high impact to the business or is a recognized expert in a specialized field
Be responsible for major and complex assignments with long-term business implications
Contribute to the overall strategy and manages complex issues within functional area of expertise
Coordinate advanced troubleshooting
Verify timely completion of service request and reports
Interface with End Customer and Sales Team as required
Bachelor’s Degree or High School Diploma, G.E.D., Home School Certification, or International Equivalent to High School Diploma, and a minimum of 5 years of work experience in water treatment field

Bachelor's Degree (Chemistry, CE, EE, ME, IE or Environmental Engineering)
Minimum of 2 years of supervisory / leadership experience
Experience on GEWPT equipment or industry related equipment
PLC and process controls experience
Experience with large scale equipment commissioning and operations
