Currently, PSCNA
is seeking a full-time Field Engineer – Point of Sale Systems and Document
Imaging for Panasonic Systems Communications Company of North
America. This position will cover the Western
United States (CA, NV, OR, WA, ID, MT, WY, CO, NM, AZ, UT, HI,
AK). Supported products include point of sale payment terminals, document
scanners, and interactive whiteboards. This position is home-office based
and can be located anywhere within the Western continental United States.

As Field
Engineer on the System Solutions and Support Team, you'll need excellent
technical, communication, and organizational ability. You will work with
Area Sales Managers and customers throughout the sales process and product
lifecycle. You will be called on to help resolve customer issues and
proactively identify potential problem areas. You'll work with technical
and non-technical staff in our customers' organization to resolve issues and
outline the benefits of Panasonic's technology. You will need to be an
excellent communicator, and you should be comfortable collaborating with
engineering, sales, and service teams.

customer issues to resolution by drawing on support resources from Engineering,
Service, and Operations.

Maintain a
current understanding of emerging technologies and trends.

Travel up
to 75% of the time within the Western United States.


A Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Engineering (EE, CmpE, or a related field) or Computer Science is preferred, with strong academic performance.

3-5 years of sales support experience focused on developing integrated network solutions.

Extensive knowledge of enterprise IT environments.

Thorough understanding of data networks and networking concepts (IP networks, DNS, routing).

Familiar and conversant with wireless broadband (WWAN) technology.

Familiar with mobile device operating systems, including Android and iOS.

Current Microsoft or Cisco certifications preferred.
