Under the direction of the Sr Director Outreach; Assist the Sr. Director of Outreach & Community Relations with the implementation of an Outreach Plan. Responsible for supervising field staff that report out of the local office. Responsible for overseeing Outreach and promotion of the Plan s Medicaid, Child Health Plus (CHP) and Qualified Health Plans (QHP) on-exchange to individuals and community groups from target markets. Provide ongoing support to Field CAC s and Enrollment & Retention CAC s. In collaboration with the Sr. Director, Manager ensures appropriate coverage in MVP satellite offices and all MVP locations and provides monthly field Outreach reports to Sr. Director. Conducts regularly scheduled TEAM meetings with staff. Completes the Outreach schedule and ensures it is updated and entered into the Time Trade program in a timely manner. Facilitates and participates in all meetings scheduled for the Outreach department as scheduled. On a monthly basis, reviews electronic applications in FEEA to ensure the integrity and quality of the enrollment process. Communicates with Sr. Director to identify Representatives that may require additional follow-up and other training. Understands enrollment process and ensures that all field staff are following the CAC guidelines, as well as all corporate enrollment processes (SMART). Conducts spot checks at Outreach events and sites, and during field Outreach activities with the CAC s to ensure they are complying with enrollment requirements includes weekends and evenings. Ensures that all field staff follow MVP s policy and procedures with emphasis on the CAC standards and SMART process. Supervises enrollment process to ensure staff are meeting enrollment goals. Completes monthly, probationary and annual staff evaluations. Develops and maintains relationships with community based organizations. Makes presentations on the NY State of Health Marketplace enrollment to Community Based Organizations (CBO s). Maintains enrollment sites in compliance with the CBO and MVP guidelines. Works closely with Community Relations to obtain/cover appropriate Outreach events. Performs other duties as assigned. POSITION QUALIFICATIONS: Minimum Education: Bachelor s degree and four (4) years related work experience or equivalent combination of education and related experience required. Minimum Experience: Prior experience with Medicaid and Safety Net products. Prior Medicaid/Safety Net marketing and/or outreach experience preferred. Minimum 3 years leadership experience Required Skills: Excellent written communication and interpersonal skills with ability to communicate with multiple audiences including internal and external customers. Self-motivated, organized problem solver with ability to communicate, supervise, and work independently
