Career Level Specialist role; recognized authority within specific area of coverage. Primary external marketing conduit through which campaigns are launched. Provides rich guidance and collaborates openly across product team. Creates and maintains strong connection with colleagues and/or customers.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

Communicates campaign to sales force

Supports and initiates local field selling events

Trains sales force in product and supports field activity, drives, tracks and analyzes campaigns and conducts win/loss analysis

Provides products and customer feedback to geography marketing and LOB

Creates competitive product review and supports mapping curriculum for adoptions

Develop and oversee marketing and sales support strategies, launches, campaigns, initiatives, plans, and budgets to support assigned program offerings over their full lifecycles

Track revenue performance of existing products and initiate, define, and measure marketing programs to drive leads and revenue

Be responsible for marketing budget and effectiveness of marketing spend and profit contribution

Develop cutting-edge materials that establish leadership and key message points based on an expert understanding of the customers and competitors

Support the Editorial planning process by providing critical insight and data that help define the next generation of program features and elements

Refine market segmentation and optimize go-to-market strategy as required, helping to guide market strategy, intelligence and research activities and assisting the Sales team in fostering a market-driven and market-research oriented culture

Attend selected conferences and interact with educators, partners, and others to maintain awareness of market conditions, the competitive landscape, products/services, and industry trends surrounding assigned products

Establish and implement marketing and lead generation campaigns, Web sites, strategies, tactics, communications, and messaging to existing customers and potentially new customers

This is a high-energy role that demands successful experience in the development and execution of marketing plans and requires familiarity with print product and media programs, product management, business development initiatives, and marketing communications, as well as strong organizational skills and the ability to work collaboratively with multiple product teams and customers.

Qualifications

Essential Qualifications and Skills

Bachelor's degree--marketing, business communications, or related field preferred--with three years of successful sales and field marketing experience required

Ability to foster strong relationships with internal and external partners, excellent organizational, time management, communication and inter-personal skills

Experience working on a variety of marketing and market development activities preferred

Experience managing projects from inception to completion, including managing to a timeline and budget

Experience working both independently and in a team environment preferred

Adept at using Microsoft Office suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook)

Experience with exposure to graphic design programs preferred

Highly motivated, organized individual with ability to prioritize multiple projects and deadlines

Outstanding communication skills required

Excellent presentation and speaking skills

Effective organizing and prioritizing skills

Works well in a team environment

Ability to handle occasionally stressful situations

Knowledge of the testing industry and/or electronic testing preferred

Desirable Qualifications and Skills

Exhibit special expertise in the areas of strategic planning, research and marketing, and product planning

Ability to manage multiple priorities and to interface effectively with customers and with other departments within the organization

Strong analytical skills to both gather and interpret key data points to drive campaign decisions

Experienced presentation skills and the ability to shape perception very important

Working knowledge of project management, spreadsheet and word processing software

Excellent interpersonal skills very valuable in driving concensus and momentum around campaigns

Strong aptitude and curiosity to leverage Social Marketing and Data Analytics in reaching targeted customers
