What you can look forward to accomplishing Documentation
•Field Service Reports - email to the Field Service Manager within 1 week.
•Customer Surveys – have customer fill them out and send to FSM
•Installation Reports – to be emailed with your Field Service Reports for all products that are
directly shipped from Germany to the customer’s site.
•Daily Progress Reports – Email daily progress reports to the Field Service Manager (also cc Project Manager and Regional Sales Manager if applicable).
•Expense reports - completion within 2 weeks. Mail printed copy with itemized receipts attached as soon as possible. Demonstrate fiscal responsibility with regards to company expense activity
•N.I.S.T. cal forms – email to FSM and provide signed hard copies directly to customers as required.
•Decontamination form filled out when returning customer property – Notification number (assigned by Service Coordinator) must be written on the form and outside the box.
•Warranty claim forms to be completed when applicable.
•MFCS installation documents – provide to FSM and include Dongle to return when applicable.
•Activated during working hours to receive phone calls and email.
•Check voicemail frequently.
•Provide fast response time for service issues.
•Check email throughout the day, daily.
•Coordinate schedule with FSM and post on Biotech Field Service Calendar. Notify the FSM your itinerary and schedule changes.
•Quarterly inventories will be performed. You are responsible for the accuracy of your inventory.
•Provide customers with parts lists and discuss the advantages of Service Contracts.
•Travel to company and client sites as required for installations, repairs, training or demonstrations.
•Perform other related duties as required.
Skills and experience that you need to bring to our company -Associates degree in an Electrical/Electronic discipline or equivalent combination of industry experience and technical/military training
-Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
-Excellent troubleshooting ability.
-Proficiency with MS Office software.
-5 years Field Service experience in the BioPharmeceutical industry
-Good working knowledge of ISO 9001:2008 accreditation requirements as well as GMP/GDP.
Valid Drivers License
-Up to 80% travel is required to support Field Service activities.
