Job Summary: • Maintain all skill sets to effectively support and repair all Olympus NDT systems. • Maintain proficiency in all sub-assembles in all systems technologies. • Participate in system training prior to shipping of any Olympus NDT System. • Proficient in reading schematics and prints to diagnose system faults. • Diagnose system problems via telephone and remote support with system customers. • Perform system or sub-assembly repairs on-site or in the Olympus service center. • Produce accurate and timely customer service reports, compile test results, and prepare • briefing reports (in order to distribute to both the customer and Olympus NDT archives. • Document and record all actions and communications pertaining to the service event in the • established work Order (CRM). • Participate, as part of a rotation of field service engineers in a 24 hour/7 day on call • system support program. • Actively participate in the solicitation and implementation of proposals for spare parts • and system maintenance programs and system service contracts. • Respond to questions from system users regarding all system products. • Provide customized training to users of Olympus NDT products and systems. • Provide assistance as required to fellow Olympus NDT system service engineers in • other world wide locations who support Olympus NDT system customers. • Provide system service notes for frequent system problems to fellow world wide ONDT field • service technicians. Available for worldwide travel (40% to 60% of time)

SKILL REQUIREMENTS: • Proven skills in computers and automation diagnostics and repair. • Motion, Automation controls and/or PLCS experience • RF or Ultrasonic, Eddy Current or Phased Array experience • Proficient in reading schematics and prints to diagnose system faults EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: • College Degree , Minimum Associates Degree in Engineering • Five to ten years experience providing support to complex systems
