The Field Service Representative – Controls will provide customers with technical direction and support on GE Packaged products or other Non-GE products, including hands on maintenance / operation and repair of these products. In this role, you will drive customer satisfaction through commitment to quality.
In addition, you will:
Provide customers with technical direction and support on GE Packaged products or other Non-GE products, including hands on maintenance / operation and repair of these products
Have a basic understanding of gas turbine operations
Read and interpret electrical / mechanical flow and instrument diagrams
Have working knowledge and understanding of PLC ladder logic, including basic understanding of how to navigate thru ladder rungs while troubleshooting
Have general knowledge of turbine instrumentation calibration, including various types of transmitters
Work with hand tools and specialized test equipment; carry equipment up and down stairs
Complete standard service reports, invoicing packages, and other administrative requirements
Drive customer satisfaction through commitment to quality
Monitor site safety during project execution, and use Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) equipment in accordance with safety compliance
Have extensive travel to and from projects and various field assignments
Work overtime, including holidays and weekends; must be able to work hourly schedules that are not uniform day-to-day
Work inside and outside in extreme weather conditions for extended periods of time
High School Diploma / GED
Minimum of 5 years of experience with Gas Turbine Equipment
Ability and willingness to lift and carry up to 85lbs as required
Ability and willingness to work overtime, including holidays and weekends as required
Ability and willingness to work hourly schedules that are not uniform day-to-day
Additional Eligibility Qualifications

Experience with high voltage controls, protective systems
Experience with Woodward Micronet, and GE MarkV and MarkVI Controls
Experience working with Resistive Temperature Devices (RTD's), pressure switches, and other assorted field devices used to monitor gas turbine operation
Experience working on GE LM Package Equipment
Demonstrate the ability to pass Offshore Water Survival training
