The Field Service Representative (FSR) will be responsible for providing our on-site technical customer service for GE Energy, Chemical Monitoring Solutions in the Montana area. This position will include chemical residual testing, chemical feed and control equipment maintenance, chemical inventory management, technical recommendations, and written service reports. This is a customer facing position requiring frequent vehicle travel to many customer sites in the region.

Essential Responsibilities
In addition, you will:
  • Regularly communicate service status with manager, team members, and customers
  • Install and service chemical feed and water treatment and chemical feed equipment
  • Act as technical consultant and liaison with customer management and technical counterparts
  • Perform water analysis and/or collects samples for preparation, labeling and shipment to designated laboratory for analysis
  • Work with PLC controls, understand water process treatment design, repair pumps, instruments and control panels
  • Conduct preventative maintenance and calibrate feed pumps, controllers, feed rate charts and maintain log sheets
  • Maintain inventory of spare parts, an adequate supply of reagents, sample containers, and shipment containers necessary for routine as well as special sampling and analysis
  • Provide chemical inventory management including chemical transfers
  • Adhere to all aspects of safety on the job, including the operation and maintenance of an assigned company vehicle if required and follow company policies including Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) policies including proper use of personal protective equipment

  • High School Diploma, G.E.D., Home School Certification, or international equivalent to High School Diploma
  • Minimum of 2 years of lab, plant or maintenance experience, OR a minimum of 2 years of training (college, military, technical / vocational school)
