The Field Service and Commissioning Engineer will:
Assists department manager and senior engineers in developing and coordinating detailed plans for the installation and commissioning of projects
Assists in commissioning tasks and assignments for particular aspects of the detailed plans
Assists with troubleshooting activities to diagnose problems
Develops solutions and performance testing to ensure correct resolution
Assists in development of training programs and presentations for clients
Collects and compiles technical information for presentations
Develops knowledge of company products, customer base and application of engineering principals and standards to assignments
Performs a variety of related engineering tasks and assignments as assigned and requested
Provides support in response to customer calls for service
Ensures appropriate response and service is provided to customer
Promotes sales of maintenance services
Associate's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Technology or related field
Minimum of 1 year of experience in servicing and/or commissioning drives and/or complex automation systems in one or more of the following industries: Steel Mills, Mining, Renewables, Oil and Gas
Home based with ability to travel to destinations in the USA or overseas on short notice and for extended periods of time
Ability and willingness to travel 85%
Additional Eligibility Qualifications

Minimum of 2 years of industry experience preferred
Solid computer proficiency and technical aptitude with the ability to utilize MS Office applications
Ability to learn and follow defined departmental policies, procedures and practices
Must be able to make decisions with regards to completion of tasks and job methods and follow through with results of outcome
Good verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills essential
Must be able to interact and communicate with internal customers
Internal customers may include production, engineers, and management personnel
Ability to prioritize workload and shift work activities in order to meet business needs and department goals, essential
Must be able to independently arrange and organize work efforts on a weekly, monthly and quarterly basis
Ability be able to meet tight deadlines
Ability to multi-task on a consistent basis
