This position is responsible for financial planning and analysis of a Marketing Business Unit (BU): Wholesale, Reseller, Unbranded, Aviation or Other. Delivers extraordinary results in terms of business expectations and goals. Specializes in economic and statistical analysis related to new and renewal business deals. Accountable for accurate margin interpretation and analysis of the WRB joint venture.

Responsibilities may include:
Accountable for analyzing financial data; developing financial economic and statistical models related to the respective BU.

Accountable for forecasting, providing information on results against targets

Accountable for ensuring accuracy of data in information systems

Accountable for maintaining & improving the BU’s economic model

Accountable for developing the WRB margin analysis related to our join venture with Cenovus at Wood River and Borger

Prepares required financial reports

Reports financial results and impacts by maintaining budgets, conducting analysis

Interface with channel managers and region managers creating strong working relationships/efficiencies

Develops and cultivates key business relationships within other F&PA support positions

Works in a team atmosphere and promotes shared learning to accomplish challenging goals

Constantly looks for efficiencies and more productive ways to complete work assignments

Develops and recommends improvements in business plans and processes


Legally authorized to work in the United States

Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting

3+ years experience in a Finance or Accounting role and/or other relevant experience

1+ years experience in budgeting and economic analysis

Proficient in MS Products

Willingness to travel up to 5% of the time

Experience using SAP/BI

Economics: experience evaluating net present values and return on investment calculations related to corporate requirements

Marketing Acumen: Understands US Marketing's business and what drives its profitability

P&L Acumen: Ability to understand the what drives results

Leadership: Ability to work independently and under time constraints meeting deadlines

Teamwork: Ability to work cross-functionally and focused on contributing to the organization to achieve results

2+ years experience demonstrating the ability to positively interact with internal customers and establish relationships

Ability to effectively handle competing priorities through strong planning and organizational skills

Ability to take charge in the absence of detailed instructions and involve the right people to work on issues on a day to day basis

Ability to understand, investigate and articulate the results and what it means for the business
