The Finance Manager will provide financial leadership to our Tobacco Paperboard business. You should possess deep knowledge of the customers, products, costs, markets, economic/political conditions and business strategy of the Strategic Business Unit (SBU). In the Tobacco Paperboard segment, you will participate in Strategy, be responsible to develop strategic metrics for the performance of the unit, and provide proactive modeling, analysis and recommendations regarding all financial aspects of the business. You will liaise with Converting analysts to ensure coordination and standardization for the SBU globally. For Tobacco Specialty initiatives, you will support commercial decisions by developing models for cost, price and profitability evaluations. Work collaboratively with all functional areas of the Strategic Business Unit to ensure revenue/cost/profit objectives are achieved through Total Cost of Ownership model.
HOW YOU WILL IMPACT MWV
l0 level1 · Support Commercial organization and SBU Leadership by providing timely and accurate financial information and analysis, including revenues, costs, profitability and key drivers.
l0 level1 · Actively participate in creation and execution of Strategy for Tobacco Paperboard
l0 level1 · Actively participate in and lead initiatives to improve Economic Profit for the SBU and MWV.
l0 level1 · Provide revenue and profitability input into Paperboard pricing by customer and grade, including foreign exchange factors. Administer pricing structures for the business.
l0 level1 · Lead initiatives with commercial, supply chain and operations organization to provide volume, revenue and profitability growth with Paperboard customers
l0 level1 · Lead initiatives with commercial, supply chain and operations organization to improve accounts receivable and inventory values, thus improving working capital
l0 level1 · Lead initiatives to improve quality of financial information to achieve greater transparency, accuracy and timeliness of results by product, customer and SBU.
l0 level1 · Lead financial modeling and profitability analysis to support decisions on product development, production scheduling and customer contract development.
l0 level1 · Support the business planning process by developing detailed forecasts and analysis. Support the development of the SBU strategy and annual plan.
l0 level1 · Coordinate quarterly forecasting with SBU, supply chain and mill business analysis departments.
l0 level1 · Monthly reporting, review, preparation and delivery of financial performance versus key metrics.
l0 level1 · Develop financial objectives for the segment – grades, customers, location-specific.
l0 level1 · Ensure accuracy and relevance of data; analyze and report on key results indicators.
l0 level1 · Develop business-specific database for the evaluation of financial health of the

l1 level1 · 7-10+ years experience in manufacturing, finance, or commercial operations, Commercial Analysis knowledge and experience.
l1 level1 · Candidate ideally will have substantial operational experience in increasingly responsible financial leadership positions.
l1 level1 · Global experience with strong global business perspective is preferred.
l1 level1 · M&A experience including due diligence and post-merger integration is preferred.
