Overview
Position Summary: This position will be a full-time member of the Finance team supporting the Subrogation Division, reporting to the Supervisor of Recovery Accounting – Subrogation.

Behavioral Skills: Displays professional behavior at all times. This applies equally to personal, written and telephone contact. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow defined checklists and procedures are both required behavioral skills.

Essential Functions:

Assist with the daily check handling process.

Process recovery transactions, including review for completeness and accuracy of remittance forms.

Prepare daily reconciliations, deposits, and disbursements to providers.

Assist in preparation of internal reports.

Assist in other Finance department projects, as needed.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements:

Proficiency with ten key and data input using standard keyboard.

Proficiency with Excel required to include:
Ability to work with formulas
Formatting spreadsheets
Data manipulation
PIVOT Tables
V-Lookup preferred
An Excel test will be administered to all applicants
Attention to detail is critical
Accustomed to working in a fast paced environment

Knowledge of finance or accounting not required.

High School Diploma or equivalent required.

All candidates for Finance positions must complete a thorough background check, including a review of credit history. In addition, Finance department staff handles a substantial amount of confidential information about the Company and its clients; therefore, significant discretion is required.

Physical Requirements: Ability to remain in a stationary position for long periods of time. Ability to operate a computer keyboard. Ability to discern images on a computer screen. Must be able to exchange accurate information in communications via telephone and e-mail.

Work Environment: Office environment with minimal noise level.
