Primary Function:
The Finance Project Manager Operations- Cook Inc monitors the operational and inventory transactions, ensuring accurate consolidations of financials. The Finance Project Manager Operations- Cook Inc partners with Strategic Business Units and Operations management to drive projects and Cook initiatives.

Essential Job Functions/ Duties:

• Monitor and analyze inventory transactions, ensuring the data is recorded
properly in systems
• Partner with Operations and SBU teams as a key member from the Finance
• Partner with IT to develop improvements in manufacturing, inventory and cost
systems to improve accuracy and completeness of financial and operational
• Analyze business processes, then create and document creative solutions to
improve accounting and operational efficiencies
• Complete monthly close and consolidation process
• Prepare and analyze reports for management including manufacturing
profitability reporting, metric reporting, functional costs, cost reporting, margin
reporting, etc
• Prepare reports utilizing SAP's Business Objects software
• Develop and analyze key income statement accounts; i.e. Gross Margin,
Material, Labor and Overhead accounts
• Analyze issues of a complex nature and provide actionable data and
options that drive the best available decision
• Must work and interact effectively and professionally with and for others
throughout various levels of the global organization to achieve company
• Must strictly adhere to safety requirements
• Maintain regular and punctual attendance
• Must maintain company quality and quantity standards
• Must have effective oral and written communications throughout various
levels of the global organization
• Excellent problem solving skills and ability to work in collaborative and
independent work situations and environments with minimal supervision
• Ability to remain calm and receptive in fast paced situations

Minimum Work Experience/ Educational Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• Minimum 5 years experience in a similar role
• CMA Certification preferred
• Business Objects experience desired
• Experience with MicroSoft Office products, including PowerPoint, Excel,
Word and Outlook.

Physical Requirments:

• General office environment
• Sitting for extended periods
• Requires close visual acuity when working with computers, etc.
