Position Purpose:
To manage administrative and fiscal functions for all faculty in assigned Sections (orgs) in the Department of Medicine including development of complex financial spreadsheets and advising faculty on grant administration in the accomplishment of financial management activities for the department, ensuring funding levels necessary to sustain department activities are maintained.

Skills & Knowledge:
Knowledge of fiscal policies and processes. Comprehensive knowledge of accounting and grant administration. Ability to maintain confidentiality and security of sensitive information. Strong organizational and time management skills. Excellent oral communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to accommodate multiple faculty members and their varying needs.

Minimum Experience:
Three years of relevant experience in accounting or budget anagement. Experience in not-for-profit accounting and grants management, preferably in an academic health setting.

Minimum Education:
Bachelor's degree with a major in accounting, business administration, or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
